I found
the off road lessons very useful as a way to learn the basics of
controlling the car before heading onto the road. Peter was very
patient and not only teaches the basic driving skills, but the
knowledge and understanding of different aspects of the car.
Peter is a pleasure to deal
with. He was really helpful and flexible when arrangements needed to be
changed.
I
found Peter
to be a very good instructor, calm and very patient, with
some very useful tips on general driving as well. He
certainly gave me confidence to get out there and do it!

I am
really
pleased to have chosen Sutton Driving for my training. I had never
driven before a year ago so I was a bit apprehensive, but I was helped
to relax and my confidence really grew. Skills were constantly
built-upon and re-capped throughout the course, and preparation for the
theory and practical tests was excellent. In conversation, driving was
often related to other situations, to put it into context. There was
also a lot of feedback and I was encouraged to follow thought processes
to answer my own questions, which was useful. I would like to thank
Peter Sutton for giving me so much support, for making my lessons so
enjoyable, for being so patient and for giving me more confidence in
myself. And, of course, for ensuring I passed first time!
Pete came recommended through a friend and I decide it was now or never. I needn't have worried. Pete was not only an exceptional teacher but extremely good at calming nerves, looking at positives and helping you build upon your driving skills.
His high level of professionalism and attention to detail meant we both had a clear indication of what we had done and where we had been, which therefore maximised the value of the lessons we had. If I made a mistake we would go through the scenario so that i could clearly understand where I had gone wrong and learn and move on from it positively.
After booking the practical test, Pete made sure that I was fully prepared for the date, slotting me in for a full morning of driving before the test and accommodating me with extra lessons in the lead up to it. On the day of the test my nerves were rife but Pete's good sense of humour and stories put me completely at ease and I passed with two minors.
I will definitely be taking the Pass Plus with Pete and would highly recommend him to anyone who is learning to drive.
Peter's patient, precise instruction enabled me to pass my trailer test without a single minor on my results sheet! The lessons are excellent, giving you all the information you need to pass the test with ease. Thank you Peter

My 17 year old daughter started with off road lessons, progressing to three months of lessons on the road and passed first time! Peter is reliable, kind, gives confidence and relates well to young people whilst somehow maintaining a sense of humour!I have no hesitation in recommending him.
